Africa Jen

Serving in Mozambique, one of the world's poorest countries with Children's Relief International assisting local leaders with the Ray of Light Project. Components include education, feeding and nutrition programs, a free medical clinic, hospice, and a microfinance program for women, many of whom are widowed or living with AIDS. My current trip focuses on language and culture learning, building relationships, and serving the American teams as they come to serve.

the Adventure continues...

My first trip was October 14-29, 2007 to the village of Dondo in Mozambique, Africa with Children's Relief International. I loved it and knew there was more for me there.

[CURRENT TRIP] August 5 - October 31, 2008 back to the Ray of Light Project in Dondo. This is my time to learn the language, the culture, build relationships, use my skills, and prepare for what's next.

Future? in God's hands.
